26…Rd7Much better than R. to B's 4th, to which White would have replied with Q. to K's 3rd, and upon Black's exchanging Queens, have retaken with his Bishop, attacking the Rook, and gaining time to save the Knight.
33.Re1White was absolutely compelled to abandon the Knight.
